Is anyone running a 305 tire on a Wide Body Lobster Fork wheel, if so any pics?

About to replace my current 295's and wondered it possible to go up to a 305Lobsters.jpg

Correct, I've got Carrera Sports an they are 11.5J with a 305 tyre,

Any problems with the 4wd on the 4s with the 305 due to the increased diameter?

There maybe, you need to keep the rolling circumferences within a tolerance so you may have to change the fronts to keep the ratio the same front to back.

If your factory wheels run a a front 235/35/19 8J or 8.5J with a 295/30/19 11J on the rear, If you go to a 305/30/19 11J or 11.5J rear you will increase rolling circumference by 3mm.

You could change the fronts to a 245/34/19 which will add 3.5mm to the front so only 0.5mm which I'd imagine to be acceptable. You can play around on:

My 4S was optioned with the 11.5" Carrera Sports and came on 305s from the factory with 235s up front.

You can also comfortably run 305s on an 11" rim and from 295-315 on the 11.5" rim. I think you'd probably need a 12x19 to run 325s though... and it might also depend on the tyre manufacturer. Semi-slicks for example typically come in a wide fitment with a very square shoulder.

No with a 295 or 305 you’d run a 235 up front.

If you run a 245 35 19 up front you’d upsize the rear to a 325 30 19.

Running a 245 with a 305 rear on a turbo or 4s would ruin the awd system and cause very expensive damage ;)
