The state-of-the-art mObridge kit will work with all fibre optic equipped (MOST bus) Porsches, including the CDR23/24, PCM 2.0 or 2.1. This includes ALL Porsches from model year 2003 >2009.

The mObridge kit is the most advanced solution to integrate your iPod/iPhone* into your entertainment system, including the Porsche Communications Module (PCM) system. It gives you complete control and display of iPod functions on the PCM display screen the vehicle's radio or screens and controls on the steering wheel.

This is much safer for the driver by allowing you to adjust settings via the PCM interface instead of trying to adjust the tiny iPod controls. The mObridge kit is the only manufacturer to offer superb digital 24bit ADC sound quality. The mObridge allows you to maximise the sound quality of the Porsche BOSE™ speaker system* (*if your Porsche has it fitted) direct from a digital source. The mObridge is NOT a poor FM transmitter, or poor quality 1 Bit ADC system offered by others brands.

The mObridge iPod kit is a completely transparent installation with no unsightly cables or wires inside the cabin. Your iPod/iPhone is safely hidden away, but still with easy access for syncing at home. Would-be thieves are deterred because they have no way of knowing or seeing any tempting iPods or loose cables inside.

The mObridge is currently compatible with ALL iPods including the latest iPod Touch and iPhone*. It is also future proofed by incorporating an SD-card slot for future upgrades of software as new iPods and other firmware changes are released. The mObridge iPod&Bluetooth kit is the iPod system as above WITH the addition of a full Bluetooth phone system, this will replace your Porsche Sim card system and operate via the Porsche PCM as per normal. Installation should be carried out by a qualified engineer, but full installation instructions are downloadable, and full back support will be made available to you.

When you install the mObridge iPod or mObridge iPod/Bluetooth system, the car will probably need to have some diagnostic coding carried out by your local dealer or specialist.

All units are supplied with current Parrot firmware & mObridge UK firmware known to work with your specification vehicle.

** New iPhone 3G O/S 3.0 is not officially supported until the next firmware update is released, but we are happy to confirm no known issues have been found todate. The iPhone 3GS is also the same, not officially supported (Bluetooth is fine) but the iPod functions seem to work without any issues.
